     As we live here on earth we experience what’s the best and what’s the worst. It is important that we need to understand every thing that is happening in our world. We are always hoping and asking the best to our creator, but take note that it is not always the good things that he will give us. He wanted us to become stronger even if how hard the problem we are facing. So we need to appreciate everything he has given to us because everything happens for a reason.

     One of the calamities we are experiencing each year is flash flood because of heavy rain fall or some drainage problem. Flash Floods are quick-rising floods usually occurring as the result of heavy rains over a short period of time, often only several hours or even less. They can also be caused by ice jams on rivers in conjunction with a winter or spring thaw, or occasionally even a dam break.

The constant influx of water finally causes a treacherous overflow to begin, powerful enough to sweep vehicles away, roll boulders into roadways, uproot trees, level buildings, and drag bridges off their piers.      A flash flood can occur in an incredibly short amount of time (hence the name “flash” flood). It is important for you to know the facts about floods. Causes of flash floods include heavy rainfall or dam/levee failure. Flash floods are the leading cause of weather related deaths in the U.S. with about 200 deaths per year. Disasters are not predictable even if how smart you are or intelligent because natural disasters will come anytime of the day. The best thing you have to do and your love ones to prevent flash flood is to be prepared anytime and being aware of what is the effect and how harmful it is in our lives whenever we encounter it. Be aware of your place and surroundings if it is prone in any disasters so that you will know if there is a possibility that flash flood will occur in your place. Here are some tips to prevent flash flood.

“Social media either make or break your heart”

Nowadays people are more into social media rather than in outside activities. We prefer using our gadgets in our rooms and browse the internet. Most of the people use social media to express their feelings and emotions so that they can be relieved in what they feel and so that they can find someone to comfort them even though they didn’t know each other personally.

But some uses it for their past time and to stalk other people they wanted to know, and as a result they get hurt to what they found out.

It’s very inspiring to see the posts of other people in their achievements in life that makes you realize and think you want to do the same. I can say that social media is very popular and powerful today and many people used it for different purposes. Some of it used them for educational purposes and sources of information for their daily lives, some of them for business purposes and some for their past time or a hobby.

But too much using of social media can affect your daily life. It can also be the bad influence for other young that whatever they saw or read in the social media they will do the same it’s because they think that it’s fine and ok to do that thing but in the eyes of the others it’s a bad thing. If you cannot control yourself in using social media you will be addicted to it and you have less discipline in yourself. Like for example, when your mother ask you something to do household chores you refuse because you were searching something about your assignment but it is not true, you were busy stalking you’re crush on facebook or in instagram.

That’s the power of social media, if you can’t control yourself, social media will control you.

In addition, social media can also make your heart when you were using it in a proper way. As we all know social media today is very helpful to us, especially to the college students. Because of this we learn a lot from social media, we can learn something in what we read or see and we apply it in yourself. We use social media to get the latest information and updates about the world or our society; we use social media like for example facebook to upload our projects, assignments, hand outs or even the announcements for the upcoming events in our school. It can also be helpful for the online business to sell their products in the social media but you have to check first your client if it is scam or not.

Social media can break your heart if don’t know how to handle it. As of now, many people are taking an opportunity to use their scam in the social media to victimize who were innocent in social media.

Like in my cousin’s case, he was working in Saudi Arabia as a driver. As a source of communication, he uses facebook to communicate to his family here in the Philippines. After his contract had finished, he went home. After a month he decided to get back to Saudi to work again, but before he leave he sell his laptop in one of the pawnshop because of some financial problem to process his papers . Accidentally he forget to log out his facebook account in his laptop, after that he went back to Saudi, he has no worry about it until one day his facebook account was used by the stranger for scamming and asking for money to the friends and relatives of my cousin in facebook he said will be going back to work and lend some money and he will pay double as he get his first salary in Saudi. This is one of the example that will break your heart if you were the victim of the scamming.

So for the people who were heavy in social media and spend too much money just minimize it so that you will not be the victim and you will not lose yourself control. That’s why I consider social media can break your heart if you don’t know how to use it in a proper way.
